Overview

We are seeking a dedicated QA Tester with strong technical skills in Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, and SonarQube to join our innovative Fintech project. 

This position is perfect for someone who excels in a remote environment, possesses the ability to work independently, and is comfortable with occasional travel to the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review test evidence to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to both business and functional requirements.
• Ensure each testing phase meets specified entry and exit criteria.
• Produce detailed test coverage and outcome reports to document testing phases.
• Lead the development and execution of test scripts, focusing on both negative and positive testing outcomes with the end user in mind.
• Coordinate the client acceptance testing phase to ensure client requirements are comprehensively met.
• Regularly update the Jira board to track progress and communicate updates effectively.

Requirements:

• Willing to work on a short term contract (approx 6 months - potential to renew)
• Must be based in JHB
• Proven experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Jmeter, and SonarQube.
• Strong background in performance testing and the ability to effectively create, execute, and interpret automated test scripts.
• A sound understanding of user experience principles is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a QA testing role, ideally in a remote setting
• Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, React, Flutter, or design tools like Figma is beneficial
